Yamout Optical Center opened its doors in 1978 as a single family-run practice, built on the belief that eye care should combine medical precision with genuine personal attention. Every client interaction starts with understanding individual visual needs, lifestyle, and aesthetic preference — so we can recommend lens and eyewear combinations that achieve real clarity, balance, and long-term comfort. Since then, the practice has grown to 5 branches across Lebanon, while staying true to its founding values: vision, precision, and elegance.
افتتح مركز يمّوت للبصريات أبوابه عام ١٩٧٨ كعيادة عائلية واحدة، انطلاقاً من إيمان بأن العناية بالعين يجب أن تجمع بين الدقة الطبية والاهتمام الشخصي الحقيقي. تبدأ كل تجربة مع عميل بفهم احتياجاته البصرية ونمط حياته وأذواقه الجمالية، لنتمكن من ترشيح أفضل تركيبة من العدسات والنظارات لتحقيق وضوح حقيقي وتوازن وراحة طويلة الأمد. ومنذ ذلك الحين، نما المركز ليضم ٥ فروع في لبنان، مع البقاء وفياً لقيمه التأسيسية: الرؤية، الدقة، والأناقة.

M. Bilal Yamout

Bilal Yamout studied optometry in the United Kingdom before returning to Lebanon to help lead the family practice his parents founded in 1978. He is the ocularist behind Yamout Optical Center's signature specialty — custom, hand-painted artificial eyes (ocular prosthetics) — a craft that combines clinical precision with genuine artistry to restore comfort, natural appearance, and confidence for every patient. He is also our lead specialist in fitting all types of contact lenses, from everyday soft lenses to complex RGP, toric, and specialty fits.
Custom prosthetics crafted under his guidance include acrylic ocular prostheses (durable, natural-looking, tailored to each patient), scleral shell prostheses (a thin shell restoring the cosmetic appearance of a blind or shrunken eye), and 3D hand-painted iris work for realistic depth, color, and reflection.
Under his guidance, the practice has grown from a single Beirut location into 5 branches across Lebanon, staffed by a team of 21 — almost all trained in optometry — while keeping the same hands-on, family approach to patient care that has defined Yamout Optical Center since the beginning.
درس بلال يمّوت تقويم البصر في المملكة المتحدة قبل عودته إلى لبنان للمساهمة في قيادة العيادة العائلية التي أسسها والداه عام ١٩٧٨. وهو الأخصائي وراء التخصص المميز لمركز يمّوت للبصريات — العيون الاصطناعية المصنوعة والمرسومة يدوياً — وهي حرفة تجمع بين الدقة السريرية والحس الفني الحقيقي لاستعادة الراحة والمظهر الطبيعي والثقة لكل مريض. وهو أيضاً أخصائينا الرئيسي في تركيب جميع أنواع العدسات اللاصقة، من العدسات اللينة اليومية إلى العدسات الصلبة القابلة للنفاذية والعدسات الأسطوانية والتركيبات الخاصة.
من بين الأطراف الاصطناعية المصنوعة تحت إشرافه: عيون أكريليك (متينة ومظهرها طبيعي ومصممة لكل حالة)، وقشرات صُلبية (غلاف رقيق يعيد المظهر التجميلي لعين عمياء أو ضامرة)، ورسم يدوي ثلاثي الأبعاد للقزحية لعمق ولون وانعكاسات واقعية.
وبتوجيهه، نما المركز من عيادة واحدة في بيروت إلى ٥ فروع في لبنان، يعمل فيها فريق من ٢١ شخصاً — معظمهم مؤهلون في تقويم البصر — مع الحفاظ على النهج العائلي القريب من المريض الذي ميّز مركز يمّوت للبصريات منذ البداية.
