Technical Fitting Chart Guide

Critical Printing Rule Before using any chart, ensure your printer settings are set to "Actual Size" or "Scale 100%". Never use "Fit to Page." Verify the scale by measuring the 10mm reference bar with a ruler.
Standard Chart

1. Standard Novax Chart

The universal guide for general progressive lens fitting.

  • Mark the Lens: Place a dot on the Fitting Cross (Pupil Center) of the demo lens.
  • Align: Place the frame on the paper. Align the marked cross exactly with the chart's central cross.
  • Check Distance: Ensure the top rim sits comfortably inside the distance zone.
  • Check Near: Look at the bottom lines (14mm, 16mm). Ensure the frame bottom does not cut off the reading circle.
Oval Chart

2. Oval Chart (Diameter Check)

Essential for Round or Oval frames to determine the minimum lens diameter.

  • Align: Center the frame on the chart.
  • Red Line: If frame touches Red, order 75mm Diameter (Fitting Height 65mm).
  • Blue Line: If frame touches Blue, order 70mm Diameter (Fitting Height 60mm).
  • Green Line: If frame fits in Green, order 65mm Diameter (Fitting Height 55mm).
Nucleo 4D Chart

3. Nucleo 4D Chart

Specific layout for the premium Nucleo 4D personalized lens.

  • Select Corridor: This chart displays Short, Medium, and Long corridors.
  • Verify: Place the frame on the chart to see which corridor fits best.
  • Decision: If the frame bottom cuts through the "Long" circle, you must order a "Medium" or "Short" corridor.
