Our Artificial Eye Story
Our story is really a story about people, not just prosthetics. Losing an eye changes how you see yourself, how you smile in photos, and how you walk into a room. We understand that behind every artificial eye there is a life story—a child, a mother, a worker—trying to feel "normal" again.
Yamout Optical Center was founded with a simple promise: to treat every patient like family. Over the years, we realized many patients were living with poorly fitting prostheses simply because they didn't know a better solution existed. That is why we built a dedicated department where medical knowledge, technical precision, and artistic hand-work come together.
Art & Science Combined
An artificial eye is more than a piece of plastic. It is a work of art that lives on a human face. To look natural, it must:
- Fit the exact 3D shape of the socket.
- Support the eyelid for natural movement.
- Be hand-painted to match the iris, pupil, and veins of the companion eye.

1. The Consultation
We begin with a private, calm discussion. We listen to your history and examine your socket, eyelids, and natural eye to set realistic expectations.
2. Impression & Fitting
We take a precision impression of your socket using gentle materials. This ensures the prosthesis fits every curve without pressure points, offering maximum comfort.
3. The Artistic Painting
The iris is hand-painted layer by layer to match the depth and color of your natural eye. We paint while you are with us to ensure the color looks perfect in real light.
4. Delivery & Life
The eye is polished to a glass-like finish. We teach you how to insert, remove, and clean it, ensuring you leave confident and supported.
